Cyclone Nargis Hits Myanmar, Farmers Promote the Rice Bank Movement

After Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar, Tzu Chi built three schools in Project Hope. Tzu Chi distributed rice and grain seeds to farmers. Out of gratitude, two farmers began saving a handful of rice every day to help others and inspired fifteen villages to also keep rice banks.
