After the Kaohsiung gas explosions, Tzu Chi began a home visit initiative, encouraging “everyone to participate in charity and spiritual care and support.” Tzu Chi volunteers made door-to-door home visits to more than 17,000 homes, giving out the “Abundant Blessings” audio players. These were used to play music and Master Cheng Yen’s teachings to help put disaster victims’ minds at ease.
