March 11th Compound Disaster in Japan

Following the compound disaster on March 11 in Japan, Tzu Chi volunteers immediately mobilized to provide disaster relief, launching the initiative “The Earth is Imperiled by Emerging Disasters: Go Vegetarian, Repent, and Make Great Vows.” Tzu Chi volunteers throughout the world collected donations and love, distributing cash aid to more than ninety thousand affected households in Japan.
